About the Artist
Damien is a properties artisan with a background in both engineering and art. After completing his undergraduate with a B.S.,
it was not until he decided to return to school that he became involved with theater and entertainment.
During his time at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, he developed an interest in
immersive and interactive entertainment. Fascinated by theme parks, escape rooms, and interactive exhibits,
he wishes to pursue a career in designing and building these attractions.
He is always excited to try new skills and frequently picks up different projects to experiment with
techniques. Some of his favorite projects to work on include carpentry, electronics, and assemblage pieces.

Entertainment Console
Designed to fit on a single sheet of plywood.
The console was assembled with dowel joints and raw edges were veneered to finish the look.
A small shelf hides on the back of the unit to hold a power strip.
Each small shelf has a slot wide enough to allow cords to pass through.

The legs were formed by steaming 1/4" plywood and laminating the strips.
These were clamped into a curved form to shape them as they dried.

This prop was 3D modeled using Solid Edge.
A simple arduino program flashes the filament LED on button press.
Breakaway Frames
Fairview - 2024
Picture frames that were made to fall on cue.
Each frame was wired to a car door actuator and all triggered on a button press. Reset was made simple by re-hanging them on the actuator pin.
